Chocolate Chip Cookies
When my sister Amanda visited last week, we baked cookies together ... very yummy :o)
Ingredients:
- 250g butter, chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 2/3 cup (150g) castor sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2.5 (375g) plain flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Method:
- Beat butter, essence, sugar and eggs in bowl with electric mixer until smooth.
- Stir in dry ingredients and chocolate chips and mix well.
- Drop level tablespoons of mixture about 5cm apart onto greased oven trays.
- Bake in moderately hot oven (200c gas mark 5) for about 15 mins.
- Stand cookies for 2 mins before lifting onto wire racks to cool.
